On Thursday 6 May 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Afghanistan Commercial Dispute Resolution Center and the Beijing ZhiZhong Arbitration Center (Beijing ZhiZhong Information Technology Company) was signed. The objective of this MoU is to share resources on alternative dispute resolution, support each other in entering international arbitration markets, work together to enhance arbitration activities, and Joint actions to expand the scope of international commercial arbitration by using each other's influence.

During the online event, Mr. Tawakool Khurram, CEO of ACDR provided information about ACDR and added “ACDR is striving to develop and institutionalize the arbitration in Afghanistan and region.” He further added “the ACDR is working to expand its regional cooperation to establish good and strong relations with other arbitration centers in the region. Now we are pleased to continue our further cooperation with the Beijing ZhiZhong Arbitration Center, and in the future, the center and Beijing ZhiZhong will work together to enhance arbitration in the region and internationally.”

Mr. Zhang Tianwei, Chief Executive Officer of the Beijing ZhiZhong Arbitration Center, provided detailed information about their Center and stressed the need for bilateral cooperation. At the end of the event, the executives of both parties officially signed a MoU between the two centers.

Beijing ZhiZhong is a dedicated and professional Internet arbitration service provider. Our goal is to assist arbitration institutions to improve their services and achieve online digital arbitration processing so as to improve arbitration efficiency. The center focuses more on international arbitration to play a greater role in arbitration in the “Belt and Road” initiative.
